In addition to good education, it’s a great way to build relationships in different areas. It is refreshing to have unique environments for learning. People learn better when they are stimulated and relaxed. The same structure can get boring. This educational cruise also fosters an environment that allows family to come with you. It allows them to gain a better understanding of how our business works and some perspective about what we do. How great is it to be able to learn about other areas of the world? Traveling opens our eyes and minds. It might even be fun to visit some wedding sites while we’re there. This trip is very affordable compared to some of the other seminars/conferences that can run anywhere from $1500-$3000. We spend a lot of our time catering to others in the wedding business. This is a chance for us to get pampered and rejuvenate. It is also scheduled at the time when we evaluate what worked for the year, what didn’t and how to fix it. How fun to do it on a cruise! Take the opportunity to seek advice from fellow business owners. This will give you a flavor for what can be done at sea and an opportunity for you to pick up some clients in our group or otherwise.
