Certified Wedding Consultant: Crystal Lequang of Amazae Special Events
Crystal Lequang graduated from Santa Clara University with a degree in Management Information Systems and then spent years as a corporate project manager juggling people, schedules, and budgets. Realizing how much she loved the people and design aspect of corporate events; Crystal completed the Association of Certified Professional Wedding Consultants (ACPWC) certification program and started her own business, Amazáe Special Events.
“I find this business much more emotionally charged,” says Crystal. “The key to a really great event is keeping your guests entertained.” Coming from an entertainment background and with a decade of experience behind her, she certainly knows how to keep everyone having a great time.
Crystal enjoys lending her talents to nonprofit fundraisers for such organizations as the San Jose Junior League, the American Cancer Society, and Wish Upon A Wedding. She also sits on the Board of Parents Helping Parents and is the chair of ACPWC.
Crystal’s philosophy is to provide a unique experience to each client. “While my design aesthetic is always tasteful and elegant, I am a designer for my clients, whether contemporary, romantic, or vintage,” she explains. “Whatever they envision is what I want to deliver.”
When she isn’t planning and designing extravagant events, Crystal enjoys spending as much time as possible with her wonderful family, including two beautiful and happy little girls. Crystal lets her hair down by going to San Francisco to participate in another one of her passions: dancing.
