Every bride wants to plan her dream wedding, but what happens when she isn’t sure what that dream is? As wedding professionals, this is where we come in.
A bride probably hasn’t planned a wedding before, or any other big event, so she’s going to rely on your previous experience.
Many brides will have only a vague idea of what their dream wedding will include. They might know they want something traditional, or non-traditional, but other than a white dress and flowers, they might not have much of an idea.
When you meet with a bride, you can help her figure out the details. Helping her come up with some basics, such as a theme or color scheme, can set the planning in the right direction. Encourage brides to keep a planning scrapbook, either physically or on a site such as Pinterest. This can be a great way for you to see how she’ll define her dream wedding.
How have you helped a bride define what she wants? Do you have any tips for getting a bride to open up? Let us know in the comments or get in touch.
