The Four Stages of Wedding Planning
When it comes to organizing nuptials there are four main phases that every wedding planner should be aware of. And we’ve jotted them down here to make sure every bride – and groom for that matter – can take them off their checklist (with you, the wedding planner’s help, of course!)
- Ideas – the early stage where the couple decides where they’ll get married and how much they are willing to spend on their big day.
- Decisions – this is when it’s time to choose the suppliers such as the cake supplier, gown maker, etc…
- Details – once selections start to arrive, the couple has the opportunity to examine their choices and make changes as desired.
- Event – double checking that everything is in order and that the timetable and schedules are still running as planned.
British wedding planner and author of The Wedding Bible, Sarah Haywood said: “Hiring a wedding planner is like hiring an interior designer, they are able to translate your vision. Wedding planners know where to go, can narrow choices and have connections with suppliers so can get good deals.”
