ACWPC’s very own Rachael Capella of Euphoria Weddings & Events coordinated a beautiful wedding on Saturday, June 25, 2011.
The Ceremony was in Kensington and done in traditional Buddhist format. The wedding reception was at the Galleria in San Francisco, and was Warrior themed. They had a taco truck at the end of the night for guests to enjoy, and the bride and groom changed into custom made Warrior’s jerseys with matching shorts and sweat pants.
It was a truly unique wedding!
The reception numbers were jersey cut outs with player’s names and numbers from their favorite team. The wedding party consisted of 36 people! Over 400 guests enjoyed the evening’s events.
The bride and groom really paid attention to details, and were devoted to their theme:
The bride’s garter was a sports headband with lace around it. When it was tossed, it was wrapped around a mini-basketball signed by one of the Warrior’s players.
Instead of champagne glasses, the bride and groom had custom-made bride and groom shot glasses.
The bridesmaids had custom-made sweatpants and tank tops to change into at the end of the night, and the groomsmen had custom-made Warrior’s jerseys to change into.
The bride had a custom-made, all white Basketball Jersey with her new last name on the back with matching sweatpants, and the groom had a custom-made outift so well coordinated that even his socks and shoes were in Warrior Colors (royal blue and yellow) – He wore an entire basketball outfit!
The escort cards, which doubled as favors, were custom-made lanyards just as you would get at a basketball game.
