One certainty these days is that couples are still bvery careful about how much money they spend on their weddings.
They may even look at a wedding planner as an unnecessary expense. What does that mean for you? It means that you need to market yourself as someone who can effortlessly create the perfect wedding and make it as cost effective as possible.
So what can you do to ensure that she looks at a wedding planner as a must have?
- The first concept to get across is that time is money. It takes months to organize a great wedding and, if the couple is doing it themselves, they’ll miss out on time with family and friends. You also have experience of tying together themes and personalized options so it will take you far less time than it would an amateur.
- The second thing to sell is your ferocious ability to negotiate discounts through your network of local businesses and suppliers. If you can demonstrate the discount prices you get for the venue, caterers, photographer, etc, most couples will be happy to hand over the stress and hassle to you!
If marketing isn’t your strong point, we’d advise you to get some expertise in how to sell these messages within your brand.
